Food Network and Southern Burger Co.

Wow: what a whirlwind these last few months have been. I know it's been awhile since I've blogged, but I promise to get better at it. We've got big news, and I had to get on here myself to tell everyone.

We are nominated for Food Network's Best Food Truck in America. The poll runs concurrent with The Great Food Truck Race, and voting opens Sunday, August 14th. We're excited not only because we're representing Chattanooga, but also the winner receives $10,000 and a spot on The Great Food Truck Race: Season 3.

I speak for the Truck Team when I say "thank you." From day one we knew we had something great, and Chattanooga has taken this concept to the next level. We're ready to represent Chattanooga on the national level, so stick with us a little longer and vote. In another life I would tell you to vote early and vote often.

Follow this to the voting page; and remember you can vote up to 10 times per day. Lastly, don't forget to keep up with the truck by grabbing a bite. We have some crafty specials, and we'll be sure to remind you to vote.

Vote at:

Login with your email address, click "Give all your votes to this truck" and all 10 votes for that day will be given to us. Then, come back the next day and do the same.

See you at the truck!

What's going on Chattanooga??

Hey guys! I know it's been a while, but for good reason! We are busy!!

It's an exciting time for Southern Burger Co. and we can't wait to share some big news very, very soon. We will be announcing the news next weekend. So tell your friends and family. Have them life our facebook page, because this is HUGE.

For those of you who keep up with us on a weekly basis, I am sure you have noticed some new faces. We are excited for the growing staff that we have been forced to hire. It's always a good problem when you need to hire more people. After many interviews, we are certain we have the right guys for the truck!

As I am sure you all have noticed we have been trying new burgers, too. The first one we tried was a pimento cheese burger, which was wonderful. My personal favorite is the current one.... our habanero, goat cheese and arugula burger. By far the best burger I have ever had. If you have some great ideas of your own, please let one of the guys know.

Other than that guys, we are just going to keep on truckin'.
